Experimental Device for the Study of High Pressure Premixed Turbulent Combustion

Contacts : Fabien HALTER, Christian CHAUVEAU

This modular high-pressure chamber can accommodate a Bunsen type turbulent burner or a flame-to-wall burner with vortex generation for the study of premix flames.

Max flow rate : 500 Nl/min at 0.9 MPa
Gases used : N2, Air, CH4, H2, CO, CO2, …
Max pressure : 1 MPa
Max. admissible power : 27kW
Diagnostics : LDA, PIV, Rayleigh 2D, Fast Laser Tomography
